Giant Gingerbread Man - This year we tried acouple food kits, I must say for myself it's more challengeing making these creations from the kit , then creating it from scratch.
All in all the Gingerbread man was the easiest to make. I ofcourse let Sophia decorate and she had a wonderful time.

Some great tips, I know it's easy to read off the box for 1-2-3 cooking steps. Here are some ideas to keep in mind for when you want fast results and added creativity with less mess.

1. Buy premade pizza or gingerbread dough- If you have extra dough it will be easier to save. It will save you prep time as well, since you won't have to mix the ingredients yourself.

2. A quick way to prep your dough for easier placement for your designs you wish to use. Never forget to use a rolling pin, to even, flatten out and add flour for traction, which helps for easy clean up.
3. For your decorations like the small sprinkles, cinnamon and other messy small hard to clean up ingredients. Place a disposable material around and under your decoration area. As well work on a service that will be easy to towel clean any extras into the trash can.
Sophia's Christmas Tree Cookie.

NOTE TO SHARE: Even when your creation such as this christmas tree , does not come out perfect, remember you can always save it with decorating your dough!

Some of these at home kits are not so helpful, so where your gingerbread house caves in, or the icing won't stick , and everything falls apart, keep in mind you can turn this disaster into another creation, by creating a controllable outline on top.

Keep your Happy Holiday Smile :)
Christmas Starter!
This is cute and delicious :Walnut CheeseCake Biscuits

What you will need: ( Cheesecake, carmelized walnuts, and buttermilk biscuit dough)

So quick and easy , here we go!

Roll small balls of cheesecake, wrap buttermilk dough around the cheescake ball and top with your carmalized walnut!
Then place in the oven , set at 350' degrees , for 10 min. or until you reach the golden brown coloration on your dough.

Let cool , and decorate them as you wish ( candy canes, raspberry drizzle, chocolate fondue)

Enjoy xo
